This process is pretty long, it begins with a written test, then a fitness test, followed by oral boards, a polygraph, a psych eval, and a background investigation. The whole thing took close to a year.

I sat in front of a group of 4 managers and was asked basic questions about my experience and what I knew about the job I was applying for. Some questions were very basic and others were very specific to the job.

I sat in a room with three members of the department, and they asked me character and scenario-based questions to build a profile of me as an applicant.
