There were 2 rounds of interviews. The first was a panel interview with 2 people, who then made a recommendation. If you move on, you'll hear back in 2-3 days. The second interview was with a panel of 3 people, including the Program Supervisor and a Project Coordinator. They took turns asking questions from a list. Panel interviews can feel intimidating, so be ready for that. If you're looking to work at Kamehameha Schools, it's a good idea to research their programs and understand the mission behind KSBE.

Behavioral Technical Group

The online application process was a bit shaky. For one role, I first had a phone screening with the team's lead. Then, I had an in-person interview where I met with two peers, my direct supervisor, and the senior manager, all one after the other. I really enjoyed those one-on-one meetings. For a different position (which I turned down), I disliked the group panel interviews. They can be pretty stressful, especially when questions are fired at you randomly by different interviewers without any clear structure or flow. I feel like that's not a fair way to assess a candidate unless there's some kind of organized approach to the questioning.

Behavioral Technical

This interview process felt like it dragged on and had a lot of steps that didn't seem necessary. First, there were two phone interviews, each about 30 minutes. Then, I had an hour-long Skype call with all the investment analysts and the head of hiring. After that, I went to their office for a 6-hour session with 5 different interview rounds covering all the teams, and I also had to do an Excel activity. The whole thing took about 3 to 4 weeks.

The initial online application was straightforward and quick. I was able to schedule the interview efficiently, and the supervisor kept me in the loop throughout the process. The interview was set for a convenient time, and I received a prompt response afterward. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
