First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kaman.
Senior Buyer
The interview process was easy. The interview was friendly and they offered me coffee. There were two rounds of interviews. One was with HR and the other was with the VP.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with this company?
- What drives you to perform well in your work?
Program Manager
So I applied through Indeed and then an HR person got in touch with me. They set up a phone interview with a hiring manager. It was a 30-minute call where they asked about my background and explained the job. After that, I was asked to a panel interview with 5 people. I had to prepare a PowerPoint presentation about my experience and then answer some questions.
- Can you share an instance where you managed a challenging client?
Manufacturing Engineer
The manager talked about what a typical day looked like. I got a tour of the factory. I met with 2 Managers and 1 Director of Manufacturing. They said a decision would be made quickly, within 1-2 days. It's been 6 weeks now. They look you in the eye and lie. I'm better off not getting an offer. They changed the job from permanent to contract the next day.
- Can you describe your experience with production floor support?
- What is your experience with MRB?
- How many years have you spent writing work instructions?
Audit Manager
The process was fair, clear, and straightforward. It was transparent and easy to follow. I spoke with managers in SOX/IT audit and the Chief Audit Executive. It was a quick process, but they gave me enough time to ask all my questions.
- Can you tell me about your qualifications for this position?
- Do you have any travel requirements for this role?
- What is your understanding of the industry and its associated risks?
