First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kaizen Technologies.
Backend Developer
The interview process started with a recruiter call where typical background and company-fit questions were asked. This was followed by a technical screen which involved a live coding session using C# (similar to LeetCode problems) and technical questions about data structure complexities like lists, arrays, and dictionaries. I had a negative experience during the technical screen; the interviewer created an uncomfortable atmosphere and seemed to expect very specific terminology, for instance, defining what an interface is in the context of a class. The interviewer's approach during the live coding section was unhelpful and confusing, and they failed to communicate that multiple coding exercises (two or more) were required. Consequently, I focused solely on completing the single exercise I was aware of. Despite successfully finishing it, I wasn't advanced to subsequent stages.
- Can you explain the primary distinction between a list and an array?

I’ve always believed that a company’s culture defines its success, and Kaizen Tech is the perfect example of this. Their approach to every process is nothing short of remarkable. The professional and seamless workflow makes collaboration feel effortless, while their attention to detail ensures every aspect of the project is thoroughly tested. Working with them has been inspiring, and their culture of innovation and excellence is something every company should strive for.
- What kind of individual do you find difficult to collaborate with professionally?
HVAC Technician
The interview process was pretty straightforward. They asked some basic questions about refrigeration and air conditioning. Nothing too scary, just the fundamentals like the refrigeration cycle, types of refrigerants, and how to do brazing and detect leaks.
- Can you explain the refrigeration cycle?
- Could you tell me about refrigerants and what types exist?
Salesforce Team Lead
I had a really bad and unprofessional experience with this interview. They set up the interview through UST. After I finished all the rounds, I found out the role was for Malaysia, not India, and they offered me 9K Malaysian currency per month. This crucial information was never mentioned before the interview, so I feel like I wasted my time.
- They asked questions related to Salesforce.
