So, the interview started pretty good, two people were interviewing me, and they were nice and explained the job. Then a manager jumped in and was super aggressive, which was a total turn-off. It was the only interview that made me feel uncomfortable.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Other

After getting referred by someone already working there, I had a phone interview with a hiring manager about the role and my sales background. Next, I went in for an in-person panel interview with four sales managers. They mainly asked about my past work and sales abilities, then we did a mock call simulating the kind of communication I did in my previous jobs. A few days later, I had a final interview with Amy Zimmerman, the head of people ops. This was a really different and impressive pre-employment screening I've ever been through. She was super friendly and asked tough questions that really let me show my personality, how I think, and my work experience. She even gave me some helpful feedback on my resume during the interview that could have really changed my job search if I hadn't gotten the offer from Kabbage. I thought that was a really unique part of the interview, and it totally showed Kabbage's value of genuinely caring about everyone, even potential employees.

3 steps: First, a phone screen where they asked basic resume questions. Second, a manager interview with role-specific questions. Third, a panel interview asking about company culture fit. They sent an offer via email, but you pretty much knew if you got it after step 3.
