The first conversation was very pleasant, discussing goals and experiences. Standard questions were also asked. It was easy to engage in conversation with everyone involved. The second conversation was with HR.

I had a phone interview, then an in-person one. I waited about two weeks for a response after that. The interview wasn't too difficult or stressful, the environment felt pretty relaxed. The people interviewing me were dressed casually in jeans and sweatshirts, t-shirts were acceptable. The conference room was nice. I imagine the interview for a management position is probably quite different.

There was a group of three people in the panel for interview. First, they introduced about the company then, they asked me about normal questions such as tell us about yourself. At the end of the interview, I asked if they had any more questions about my qualifications and experience besides what I told them. They told me I am a bit overqualified for the position and told me to wait for a few days to know the result.

The interview process was really disorganized and seemed like they were making things up as they went along, with tons of errors and a general lack of professionalism. It makes me wonder what things are like in the office if the interview was this messy. The VP I spoke with seemed totally unprepared and uninspiring as a leader. Honestly, I think it's a good thing this role didn't work out. No feedback was given.
