First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JW Logistics.
Accountant
It was a simple 2-step interview. You should dress in business professional attire. First, you'll interview with a recruiter, and then you'll interview with the manager. They'll ask you questions, and you'll have the chance to ask your own questions at the end.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
- Can you discuss your previous work experiences?
Contract Administrator
I had two in-person interviews, no phone calls involved. After the interviews, I tried to follow up, but they went quiet. I would have accepted an offer, but after so many weeks, it doesn't seem like it's coming. One executive apparently refused to interview me, I overheard her saying it. It's a shame because it's a great company with a good business model. They reached out to me, I'm not sure how they got my contact info.
- Could you describe the problems you're facing?
Logistics Terminal Manager
First, I had a setup interview with HR over the phone. Then, I was emailed a mandatory personality quiz. After that, I met for the interview in the bar of the hotel where they were staying. The hiring manager was a bit late, claiming to be on the phone and then saying I was supposed to call him. His phone went straight to voicemail, so he must have been busy. The interview itself was mostly about my personal life. I guess he was looking for a friend?
- The interview started with questions about personal life.
- Have you ever been fired before?
Director of Safety Compliance
I had a phone interview with the Recruiting Group. They were really easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable. They asked good follow-up questions and really dug in if they didn't understand something. Very friendly and knowledgeable, but a bit slow to follow up.
- Can you describe your past experiences?
