First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Just Global.
Supervisor
The interview process felt off and like I was being asked the same things over and over. The HR person asked these generic, book-smart questions that didn't really feel like they had anything to do with the job. There were also a bunch of people interviewing me who didn't seem to have a clear reason for being there, and some of the interview rounds just repeated the same questions, which made the whole thing feel like a waste of time.
- Can you explain the marketing mix (4Ps) and describe how you'd use it?
Business Analyst
The interview process was going well until the final round, which took an unexpected turn. I knew about their budget constraints and was prepared to negotiate salary. I completed a case study, which is usually the final stage, but then received a rejection email. When I inquired about the reason, I received no feedback, even though I would have been open to discussing any errors I made. Their lack of response and ignoring my questions reflects poorly on their work ethics.
- Describe a challenge you encountered in your previous work and explain how you resolved it.
Resource Manager
Applied via LinkedIn and only received an automated email. Reached out to the job poster a week later for a follow-up and they scheduled a 15-minute phone interview. The interviewer spent most of the time talking quickly about the company history and benefits, information readily available online. With only five minutes left, they asked about my background and motivation for applying, requiring very brief answers due to the time constraint. After I finished, the interviewer stated we were out of time and asked if I had one question. I followed up twice in the following week with no response, not even a rejection email. While phone screenings are brief, 15 minutes felt insufficient, especially when the time was used for company info instead of learning about the candidate. The process felt rushed, as if a decision had already been made against me. It felt like a waste of time for everyone involved.
- Can you tell me about your professional background?
- What is your motivation for wanting to join Just?
Media Platform Specialist
I applied online and had a phone interview just before Thanksgiving 2016. The hiring manager was good about replying to emails. I was told they might be changing the hiring direction for this role, but I still got an on-site interview with the team in December 2016. I was excited to learn more about the job, the company, and its culture. Ultimately, they did change the hiring direction for this position. The hiring manager emailed me to explain what happened and gave me some good career advice, which I really appreciated.
