So after I applied, we had to set up a mock virtual lesson with someone interviewing me, over Zoom. During this mock lesson, after we chatted a bit, they told me to act like they were a student and teach them two coding problems.
- Can you explain what bubble sort is and walk me through its implementation?
Teacher
I had to give a lesson, and the interviewer pretended to be a student. They really wanted to see if I could work with and engage kids, because they'd test me by acting like they were looking at their phone or playing with their nails. The interviewer was super encouraging, though, and asked me to point out where I thought I 'glowed' and where I could 'grow' with my lesson.
- What makes you want to work for our platform?

The whole interview process took like a month. The first part had some basic questions about my history and then a quick 5-minute practice interview. After that, I had to do a 20-minute lesson for the interviewer on Python.
