I applied online through the company website and got an email response pretty quickly to schedule an interview. I was expecting a phone call, but then my interviewer turned on his camera so I did too. He was really nice and gave me some good advice. He said he'd move me to the next round and email me the following week to schedule it, but I never heard back. I emailed him, but still no response. It was a good interview, but I thought it was unprofessional of them not to reply.

I had an interview with the director of sales and then with the owner of the company. It was a very nice interview and I felt like it was a good fit for me. It seems like a nice company to work for.

This interview was absolutely disgusting. It only lasted 10 minutes, and the interviewer wouldn't even listen to my story. He just kept asking why I job-hopped, which is wild considering the economy. I explained my reasons, like COVID, contracts, and layoffs, but he wasn't happy, even though I was at my last job for over 3 years. What's funny is his own LinkedIn shows he's only stayed at jobs for 2 years or less before finding one for 6 years. When I asked what's changed in the 11 months he's been there, he just said 'we've grown.' Then I asked why they're bringing work in-house instead of using agencies, and he said 'no budgets/not profitable.' Make it make sense! He didn't share anything about the company, the team, or the culture. He only asked one question about my background, which makes me wonder why he even bothered interviewing me if he was so turned off. I've never been so disgusted by an interview process. Plus, no HR or recruiter? That's a huge red flag. Run far away.

Okay so first interview was with the AE, then the second was with the regional manager and the third was with the VP. Honestly, it felt super unorganized. I mostly just complimented them on their achievements, like 'wow that's amazing' and 'good for you', and said I couldn't wait to learn from them. It was a lot of fluff and not enough about what skills I could bring to the market or how I could help build brand awareness. Good luck to the next people interviewing, and really, good luck to this company, time to fix things.
