The interview process was straightforward and moved quickly. For this senior position, there were several rounds, and the recruiter was helpful. They were upfront about salary expectations, which made things easier and saved time.

Applied through a recruitment agency and had two interview rounds. The first round focused on JS/React questions. The feedback was that my React experience wasn't as strong as expected for a Lead role, but suitable for an SSE. I agreed with this assessment. The second round involved discussing my resume, API concepts, and some specific scenarios. The interviewer's feedback was positive and passed to HR. HR initially congratulated me and requested documents, which I submitted. After a long wait (over a month) with follow-up reminders, HR cited a personal 'Corona situation' for the delay. A phone call followed where HR promised an offer letter for the following Monday. Another waiting period ensued (20 days), with unreturned calls and unanswered emails. Finally, a consultant called late at night stating the company couldn't meet my package expectations, despite no prior salary discussions, which seemed arbitrary given the 'Jubilant' brand name. This HR experience suggests the company isn't employee-friendly, and I recommend hiring professional HR.

Be careful if you receive a call from Strategic Talent Partner consulting company, as they are hiring for Jubilant Food Works. They might tell you the company is great and the pay is high, with no salary limits for good candidates. I strongly advise against attending interviews if contacted by Strategic Talent Partner because it seems to be a fraudulent company. After all the interview rounds, they tend to put candidates on hold. If you confront them, they might falsely report to the Women Police Station, claiming the candidate abused them on the call and demanding a settlement. So, please be extremely cautious if this consulting company reaches out.

The company HR reached out and arranged the interviews. Initially, the Sales and Marketing SVP conducted an interview. Following that, they mentioned a detailed technical round would be handled by an external consultant, a 'Data Scientist.' They indicated that if the technical round was successful, I'd be invited for a face-to-face discussion at their head office in Noida to finalize everything. Unfortunately, I didn't hear back after completing the technical round.
