Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JTI - Japan Tobacco International.
Intern
The interview process was good, I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was friendly and the questions were clear. I was rejected for a weird reason: "your quality data presentation", which is something you can learn in a day or two. I don't think this reason is significant because my visualization was good compared to other companies.
- How do you go about learning new tools?
Intern
They gave me a call and asked me a few questions, we chatted for a bit, the person who called was really nice, they also asked if I had any questions about the job.
- What were your salary expectations?
Intern
The process was excellent, from the recruitment stage with Companhia dos Estágios to the interviews with the managers. Everyone was very attentive. My resume was selected after applying for the position, and the first interview was to assess candidate compatibility. In the next interview, with the managers, the focus was on understanding better if I fit the profile for the position.
