I applied online and they got back to me in a few days. They set up a phone interview for the very next day. Unfortunately, where I live in Oklahoma, the internet connection is really spotty. I had a lot of trouble hearing them from the beginning, and then we got disconnected halfway through because my signal just dropped completely. I tried sending an email to reschedule, but it didn't work out. They seem like nice people and a great team, and I wish them well. The recruiters are good about responding quickly with answers. It's just been a tough time finding a job after recovering from cancer, thought it would be easier by now, but I'm healthy and still struggling. Sometimes life just throws a lot at you when you're already down. Oh well, I'm staying positive and moving forward.

I sent in my application online and a few weeks later, they gave me a call to invite me for an interview. Word on the street is if they call you in, the job's pretty much yours. Pro tip: Ask them beforehand what you should prep for the interview, they'll give you the main topics. Just make sure you're ready to chat about those points and have your own questions lined up. Just be yourself, you'll be meeting your future managers, and they're looking to see if you're a good personality fit for the team.

I had an initial interview with an engineer, which was pretty chill and focused on electronic theory. About three weeks after that, I got an invite for an in-person interview at their Las Vegas office. This interview had three people and was also pretty laid back. They asked a lot about my background and then went even deeper into electronic theory, and I had to write equations and draw diagrams on a whiteboard. I felt good about it. The next day, they called to say they were interested and that I'd passed their part, just needing to clear security and one more person before they could draft an offer. I got the offer letter six days later.

After that, I had a virtual panel interview with six people from different departments. They talked about the company and what they do. Most of the interview was technical, focused on my experience compared to the role. It felt like the job description was misleading and they were hiring for multiple positions. After the interview, the hiring manager wanted to do an in-person interview in Vegas, and HR was supposed to arrange travel. I suggested a date, but they totally ghosted me – no response to emails or texts. It was very unprofessional. It seems like they have a lot of turnover, hence the heavy recruiting. The company culture appears to be toxic based on reviews.
