First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JoyBridge Kids.
RBT/ABA Therapist
I had a really friendly chat with this company, and they were easy to talk to. We'll see about the pay, they made an offer but I was hoping for more. I'm hoping we can find a middle ground.
- Can you share your background in ABA?
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
They answered all my questions. I got a tour of their center and could ask more questions. After the second interview, I met with their CEO to get clarity on their future plans.
- What motivates you to work in ABA?
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
I put in my application on Indeed and heard back from HR via email in under a week. I had a first chat with them, then an interview with the clinical director. Both felt pretty relaxed and easygoing.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What are your areas of clinical interest?
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
I was interviewing for their RBT to BCBA program since I hadn't taken the board exam yet. I spoke with an RBT, which was unexpected given my background as a seasoned RBT with a master's in ABA aiming to become a BCBA there. The interview was fine, and I felt good talking to the interviewer. It took weeks to get a response after I followed up several times. They just said they were moving in a different direction. I'm well-qualified with a varied resume, and they needed to fill positions at multiple locations. The whole experience confused and annoyed me because I never got to talk to anyone in administration or a BCBA. I'd advise the company to at least let applicants interview with a BCBA or an administrator, or someone with similar experience, before deciding.
