First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Journey Mental Health.
Customer Success Manager
It kicked off quickly with three interview rounds, but then things slowed. I was informed they weren't hiring for the role. A few days later, I got a call saying they wanted to schedule another talk because the position had reopened. That was a first for me.
- Can you share an instance of handling a challenging client, detailing your resolution and the final result?
Director of Program Services
It was a very structured group interview, felt quite stressful and wasn't a welcoming atmosphere at all. I was interviewed by six managers and administrators. The COO said they'd decide fast and let me know, but I heard nothing back, not even after I sent a handwritten thank you note. They were rude and unprofessional.
- Can you outline your specific strategies for recruiting a culturally diverse staff?
- What is the specific clinical supervision model that you utilize?
Mental Health Technician
It was a quick 15-minute zoom call, with just three questions. They asked one job-related question about how I'd help someone in a mental health crisis. The other questions were about my desired salary (the listing said around $15/hour) and my availability.
- How would you assist an individual experiencing a mental health crisis?
Care Coordinator
It was a good interview process. They let us review the questions beforehand. It was a group/panel interview, and everyone was very nice and happy to answer questions. The panel had people from different departments.
- Can you describe a situation involving crisis and families?
