First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Joulé.
Clinical Field Manager
The interview was a phone call. They were super friendly and easy to talk to. Got back to you in a timely manner and were good with updates. They helped prepare for the next steps.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- Are you open to traveling for this role?
- Are you available to work on weekends?
Quality Technician
They messaged me to set up a phone interview. The first interview was short, with a few questions about the job and some details about the position. At the end, they just said the next step was for the hiring manager to get my information.
- Can you describe your technical skills?
- What salary range are you looking for?
- What makes you want to apply for this job?
Project Coordinator
I was ghosted after two phone interviews with Joule. The recruiter contacted me about two different roles through LinkedIn and email. The first conversation was with HR, and then a week later I spoke with the account manager. It turns out the client hadn't even finalized the job description, and my resume was sent over with other candidates. I got the vibe that the position was easily replaceable and not that important - just another worker bee for the client. Even after following up with HR, I never heard back. Seriously, don't waste your time interviewing with Joule.
- What's your reason for wanting to leave your current job?
Research Associate
I applied for the Research Associate II job at Joule via Indeed on a Friday. The next Tuesday, a recruiter called me around 9:30 AM. I wasn't ready so I asked to reschedule for later that day. She sent her contact info and I called her back around 2:00 PM. We discussed my education, work authorization, desired position, current role, salary expectations, and commute tolerance. She explained Joule provides staff for biotech firms and their client needs a research associate in NYC. She noted my skills and education (Masters, 2 papers) were a good match, but my OPT work authorization was an issue as they needed a temporary worker. I've encountered this before. I thanked her and followed up with a thank you email. I didn't hear back after two weeks.
- What is your desired salary range?
