The Jotun interview panel was super unprofessional. They spent ages talking about the last person in the role and how they messed up. A lot of the time was spent on the pre-employment quiz, and they treated it like the absolute truth, comparing all my answers to it. I've never seen an interview like it. The place feels off for younger people, so maybe wait until the old management is gone.

Behavioral

I arrived on time and had an application to fill out asking for personal info, current and expected salaries, and references with contact numbers. The interview was with an HR rep and the Multicolor manager, and it was a nice experience mostly about soft skills. I was promised feedback within a week but never got it. I followed up with an email and got an automated reply that the HR rep wasn't available until the next week, with no one else to handle it, which I didn't expect from a multinational company. I still haven't heard back and called the next week with no answer. I hoped for a better experience but that's how it went. I understand things happen, but for a multinational company, I expected better communication. Clear and prompt feedback, even if it's a 'no', would improve the experience.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

So, Jotun's interview process is all about being fair and straightforward. It kicks off with them looking at your application to see if your background and what you're looking for fits the job. Then, there's usually a first chat, maybe online or over the phone, just to get to know you better – your history, why you want this, and what you're about. After that, they might dive into a more technical or behavioral interview. This is where they check out your actual skills, how you handle problems, and if you're a good match for Jotun's core values like loyalty, respect, care, and boldness. The last step could be a final interview or some kind of assessment. This might involve things like working on case studies, giving presentations, or meeting with the hiring managers to make sure you'll be a good fit for the team.
