So I had this initial recruiter call, it was pretty short and the questions weren't that deep. Then I had a F2F interview and I felt like I really connected with the interviewer and answered everything well. They mentioned they have this big business problem because they lack an organizational strategy, making IT super reactive and very tech-heavy. They're seeking a PM to collaborate with stakeholders to fix this. After the interview is where things got messy. I sent a follow-up email to the manager who gave me her card, but heard nothing. I tried reaching out on LinkedIn, still nothing. The recruiter even called them, and again, silence. Honestly, this lack of response or even a simple acknowledgement is pretty unprofessional and frankly, quite rude.

First I had a chat with HR, they were super nice and asked basic questions, and also explained the benefits in detail. Then, the PIs asked some direct questions. One of them asked stuff that wasn't really related to the job description, which I thought was a bit off, considering personal beliefs and health stuff. It really seems to depend on how experienced the interviewers are and how much effort they put into finding the right person.

We started with some aptitude verbal reasoning programming questions in mcq format. Then there was a 1st technical round which was oral, followed by a 2nd technical round, also oral. After that, a coding test was given, along with some knowledge based questions. Then a group discussion, followed by confidence testing and an application round. Finally, an HR round with self esteem questions, and then programming questions 1 and programming questions 2.

The process was organized. I had an initial meeting and then a follow-up meeting. I was then able to meet with my future team so that they could ask questions and feel comfortable since this was a new position being created. It was helpful to also receive a tour of the facility.
