Software Engineer
The interview was part of an on-campus recruitment drive. It started with a DSA round that lasted for an hour and included three questions of easy to medium LeetCode difficulty. Following this, there were two technical interview rounds, and the final stage was an HR interview.
- Tell me about APIs.
- Can you write some SQL queries?
- What do you know about primitive data types?
Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty straightforward. First, there was an aptitude test with about 3 coding questions, ranging from easy to medium. Then, there were two technical interviews. The first one covered DSA, language fundamentals, SQL, OOPs, and OS concepts. The second technical interview focused on my projects and more DSA questions. Finally, there was an HR discussion.
- Can you explain the difference between PUT and PATCH?
- What distinguishes a relational database from a non-relational one?
- For a messenger app, what database would you pick?
Senior Software Engineer
The hiring process is very bad. Initially said there will be 3 rounds. 2 technical and 1hr. I have cleared both the technical rounds. Then recruiter called and asked for HR round. Then after 2-3 days they decided to have one more technical round. If you want to reject someone please don't let them clear 1st 2nd round only. Wasting someone's time is very bad. 1st round - core Java, java 8, Spring boot, microservices questions, java programs using stream. 2nd round - similarly on java, java 8, Spring, project related questions 3rd round- how you will build insta, location app, WhatsApp, and there architecture
