They had me do a few in-person interviews. First, I had to submit a writing sample and a design using some assets they provided. Then I was interviewed by the VP, and also by the whole marketing team. All in all, I think there were about 2-3 in-person interviews.

It was a really long process. They sent me a project after the interview, and I only had 3 days to complete it. After I submitted it, I waited 2 weeks without hearing back, and then got a standard email saying they'd moved in a different direction. I put a lot of effort into the project, so I replied saying I understood but asked what specifically about my application led them to that decision. I never got a response. If you're going to make candidates wait weeks and do a project, the least you can do is explain why they weren't selected.

The interview process was good overall, with friendly staff at a small office. It involved a design project, a review of competitor analysis, shopping, trend analysis, and consumer market insights. I was also asked to describe myself and discuss my experience with PLM and tech systems.

I went through 2 interviews and got a big design task. After that, I heard nothing back. The interviewer mentioned the company has a high turnover and is strict, saying employees need 'thick skin.' I feel like I avoided a bad situation.
