First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JONESWORKS.
Senior Role
I had a phone screener, then a few virtual interviews, then they flew me out for an in-person interview. After they checked my references, they told me they gave the job to someone else because my salary expectations were too high. That's something they should have figured out much earlier in the process.
- Can you describe your responsibilities in your previous job?
Account Executive
Had a good vibe with the people I met. There were about three interviews in total, and I met with 10 really great individuals. I also had to give 2 references, do a big writing task where I had to create a campaign plan and a media list, and show off some of my past work.
- What's making you want to switch jobs?
Account Coordinator
I met with a few people from the team, and they were able to answer my questions. I only went to the office once before they made me an offer, and they hired pretty quickly.
- Are you okay with rejection?
Intern
It was a super casual and friendly interview process, which led to a great hiring experience. The staff were really helpful and made me feel welcome. They wanted to see my interest in the company and for me to explain what I expected as an intern.
- What are your reasons for wanting to intern at JONESWORKS?
