First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jones Knowles Ritchie.
Project Manager
It was a chill and welcoming vibe. I felt comfortable just being myself. They asked me about my background and what I'd contribute to the team. The whole process did drag on for a while though. It was an easy interview and they gave me the job offer.
- Can you tell me about your experience relevant to this position?
Motion Designer
Got to first interview, person who interviewed me was great. Very friendly and knowledgable about the company. The only thing was I never heard back if I got to next stage. I think I realised the role wasn't for me but would recommend reaching out if they don't send an update during the process.
- Can you share some of your work samples and explain your creative process?
Design Director
I had an initial conversation for the Design Director position. It was more of a casual, friendly chat to get a feel for things rather than a formal interview. We talked a lot about my previous experience, my design background, and the kinds of projects I've managed. It really felt like they were trying to see if I'd be a good fit and if I was interested, and also to go over my portfolio. Overall, it was a good experience and gave me a good first impression of the team. I didn't hear back after that.
- Could you tell me about your background and your past brand and design work?
- Can you describe the types of projects you have led?
- What's your approach to creative direction?
Account Director
I had an interesting first 'chat' with the hiring manager. After my initial interview with their Account Directors, I sent a follow-up email regarding next steps. However, I was ghosted for over a week. Eventually, they notified me that I didn't get the job. I asked for feedback, and the hiring manager promised detailed feedback but then ghosted me again. It's clear there are internal issues within the company as they don't respect people enough to provide feedback, let alone respond to emails.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
