Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jones Commercial Interiors.
Designer
I had one phone interview that had a lot of basic questions. Then a few weeks later, I went in for an in person interview at their cool office. I met with the leadership team and they asked me tougher questions that were more specific to my experience in the industry.
- How would you deal with an issue that came up in a simulated scenario?
Designer
I had an interview with the CEO first to talk about the job. Then, a second interview with Project Managers to see if I'd fit the company culture. They're trying something new where they give you an AutoCAD computer test to check your skills since it's a CAD-heavy office.
- What are your 5-year career goals?
Designer
I applied via email on their website. The first step was a phone interview, after which I was invited for an in-person interview. This involved meeting with upper management and project managers, and eventually led to a job offer.
- Do you have experience with AutoCAD?
