Phone screened for 30 mins, then a second round interview. Salary wasn't disclosed in either interview, and they mentioned a third round after a mildly grilling second interview, still leaving me in the dark about salary expectations. The job was posted as remote but disclosed as being on-site with hybrid work to come once someone filled the position. The role advertised was entirely misleading and a waste of time. Hybrid and remote aren't the same, and using such trickery to get applications is shameful.

This was for the Charlotte, NC location. About a month after I applied, I received a phone call asking if I would still like to schedule an interview. Once I agreed, they reviewed the position description with me and added a lot of unnecessary details like getting free lunch sometimes, which felt like they were hesitating to tell me something. They then proceeded to tell me the salary for the position, which wasn't listed in the initial job posting. The figure they gave me was the lowest I had heard since starting my job search, as I had applied to ~20 other places and was generally seeing salaries at least $10k higher. I then realized they were calling people to schedule an interview because they wanted to weed out those who wouldn't work for an extremely low salary in one of the fastest growing cities in the US, and I quickly declined the interview.

Applied online via their portal. After a few weeks, had an initial screening call with two interviewers who asked about my experience and told me about the job. A couple of days later, I got scheduled for an in-person interview about a week out. The interview went well, very professional and kind people, they even gave good directions. At the end, they said they were interviewing the first round of candidates and would let me know by the end of the following week if I'd proceed to another interview, an online test, and a written test. It's been almost a month and a half since then, and I haven't heard back, plus the job posting is still up. Maybe they were busy in April, or their needs changed. These things happen.

They asked a lot about who you knew on campus as far as important people, and how to give directions if people were trying to get to another place. It was basic questions about my major and how that would help with giving tours around campus, and the responsibilities of working in the wildcat center. Also, the importance of having everyone sign in.
