I went through a Pool Campus Placement Drive. There were three rounds after an initial OA (Aptitude + Technical MCQs). The first round (L1) was a basic technical round, followed by an in-depth technical round (L2), and finally an HR interview (L3). Some people faced really tough questions from the start, but my experience was pretty smooth, and the difficulty at each level felt just right. Even though I had a positive interview experience overall, I didn't make it through, so it was just a good first interview experience.

So the interview process began with an online test, and since I'm a robotics and mechatronics student, I was put in the controls division. My test covered aptitude, and the basics of electrical and electronics. After that, it was technical round 1, where they asked about motor basics, sensors, how to choose them, and basic electrical circuits like rectifiers and bridges. Then, students who did well moved on to technical round 2. The questions here were a bit tougher, covering things like control systems, PID control, PLC basics, and ladder logic. Finally, the students who got through that were selected for the HR interview.

Hey everyone, I'm here to share my interview experience at Johnson Controls India for a Graduate Engineer position. Round 1 – Online Test: Number of Questions: 75 Time Duration: 60 minutes Difficulty Level: Easy – Medium This was pretty much a Screening test just to filter out candidates. Questions covered a lot of core computer science topics, like data structures, algorithms, cloud computing, and software engineering. No Coding questions were in this round. The test was held on the company’s own portal; the link was sent by our TPO, and we just had to register by filling in details 15 minutes before the test started. The questions were pretty easy for me; it's just your time management skills that will be put to the test, so be ready. Results in my case were declared very quickly, on the same day, to be exact. Out of 1100 candidates who took the test, only 285 were selected. Round 2 – Personal Interview: Time Duration: 30 minutes maximum Difficulty Level: Easy – Medium Requirements: 2 copies of your Resume / CV with your photograph.
