So I interviewed for the Sr. Application Engineer job at Johnson Controls. It was a good experience overall. They had 3 rounds: first a virtual technical interview with the Delivery Manager (L1), then another virtual technical interview with the Engineering Manager (L2), and finally a tool test with a face-to-face interview with both managers (L3). The whole thing took less than a week and they sent the offer after the background checks. It was pretty efficient and the team was professional. Great experience!

You didn't get the job at Johnson Controls because of sponsorship requirements. Companies often have their own rules about work visa sponsorship. It's good to be upfront about needing sponsorship when you apply and keep looking for other jobs. Networking and talking to immigration or career experts could also help.

The recruitment team was really efficient and scheduled everything considering my availability. The first round had a good mix of technical questions, quantitative assessments, and aptitude tests. The second round was all about technical evaluation. The HR round was the last step, and I was happy to get an offer with a good package. They were very professional and organized, making me feel confident about growing my career at Johnson Controls.
