Production Assistant
A recruiter reached out via LinkedIn and we set up a call for the next day to discuss the role. It felt pretty informal, and I didn't have much time to prep. The first interview was fine, with polite questions about my experience. They mentioned the role was hybrid. The questions seemed generic, and it was an entry-level position, which was a bit surprising after nearly 7 years of work, but I decided to go for it. After passing the first round, I had a second interview with the hiring managers. This is where it got weird; they didn't seem to have looked at my resume and said the role was in-person five days a week. They asked some decent questions, but overall, it felt like a waste of time. Just keep this in mind when you apply!
- Can you share an instance where you had to change your typical routine?
Assistant Manager
Got a call to schedule an interview. The manager was a bit late and mentioned he's interviewing a lot of people, so it'll take a while. He also hinted that he might have to hire someone else because 'she wanted it'. It felt like a waste of time after hearing that. After over two weeks with no reply, I called back and he said they were still interviewing, but I never got any real info.
- Can you walk me through your previous work experience?
- What motivated you to apply to our brand?
Designer
Pretty basic. I first spoke with HR on Zoom, seemed like they were in a cafe. Then I met two design team members who couldn't really explain the job duties and seemed unprepared. I was given a project with a short deadline, and when I submitted it, I couldn't present it to the team. I moved on to talk with the COO and was told I'd get an update the next week. Weeks passed, I followed up and was told I didn't get the job.

Creative Services
The interview process was okay, and I was hired on the spot. They didn't really consider my experience much. The office is very nice. The interviewer was kind and didn't make me wait long. HR was also helpful and accommodated me, and the training was fun. I enjoyed the office tour and meeting everyone, which I appreciated.
- Am I able to juggle many tasks at once?
