Category Analyst
The process was very slow, and more feedback from the interviewer is needed to know if you will be selected. Intelligence and emotional tests were easy. Arithmetic tests were difficult. The interview location was very far away for the interview, but the interview time was in line with office hours.
- Where do you reside?
- What is your current salary?
- Are you married?
Art Director
I spoke with the recruiter first, and they scheduled meetings with the Creative Directors. Then, I went into the office for a more relaxed chat with the rest of the team. I heard back from them pretty quickly after that.
- Can you describe a past project that presented you with challenges?
Accountant
I had an initial phone screening with a recruiter that went really well. They were very friendly, easy to talk to and we had a great conversation. They invited me to the office to meet the team and that's when my experience went south. One interviewer obviously didn't want to be there, made an icy remark towards the other interviewer and was visibly annoyed because I asked questions at the end of the interview. The experience and lack of professionalism was eye-opening to say the least and left a really bad taste in my mouth—and based on all the poor reviews on Glassdoor, it sounds like this is quite common. Bullet dodged.
- Can you share an instance where you faced a challenge in your current position and describe how you resolved it?
Creative Director
I met the entire team on the same day, which I liked because they all seemed talented and produced great work. It was a positive experience. They gave me a tour and the process wasn't too complicated, like having to meet juniors, then mid-levels, then seniors separately. It was just everyone at once.
- What is prompting your move and what specifically about JL draws you in?
- Why are you interested in JL and what about it inspires you?
