- What actions do you take if a customer leaves their bag behind?
- Why are you a good fit for this position?
Cashier
Applied online and got a call the next day. First was a phone interview, asking about work experience and how your boss would describe you. If you passed, they invited you to a group interview with many other applicants for the same job (18 people total). Only 7 made it to a 1-on-1 interview. In the group interview, they asked what position you're applying for, your work experience, and for an example of a bad customer service experience and how you'd react if the roles were reversed. We also had to write our names on a piece of paper and do a skit for 'joe v's' (a commercial/slogan/song to bring customers back). My advice for the group interview: stand out, answer confidently with great examples, make eye contact, and don't make answers too short or too long. They're looking for a confident people person. I didn't make it to the 1-on-1, but I know what I didn't do right. Good luck!

You apply online and then they'll call you. After that, you go to the store for the interview. It has two parts. The first interviewer is a nice guy, and the second one is a tough guy. I arrived 30 minutes early, and since I was early, we started the interview early. I was dressed in business casual. The first man was nice! I answered his questions, told him about my good attributes, and mentioned I was available all day. The second interviewer was different. He told me he had been there for 15 years. He kept bringing up school and asking if I wanted to go back. I told him no, not anytime soon, and that I'm focused on working and gaining skills. (I guess that was the wrong answer). Every single answer I gave, he said, "I'm confused." I wouldn't change anything I did. If you have more experience and are great at talking, go 30 minutes early for your solo interview.
- Have you ever failed to finish your work?
- Do you intend to go back to school?
- Are you currently enrolled in school?
In Store Shopper
The interview process included a digital interview before the in-person one. I was asked several questions about how I would handle situations that might come up on the job.
- What motivates you to work here, and how did you learn about this job opportunity?
- What are your motivations for seeking employment with us, and what channels did you use to discover this role?
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with a challenging customer interaction.
