Brandi at Job Giraffe was really nice and listened to what I was looking for in a new job. It took a bit for her to find the right match, but once we scheduled the interview, things moved fast. She was great at keeping me updated!

I walked into an open office area. The person at the first desk I encountered wasn't very welcoming, making me feel like I was bothering her. When I met the representative I had spoken with on the phone, she claimed she hadn't received my resume. I found it in about two seconds. After she printed the email I sent, she clearly hadn't looked on the other side of the page. Oh, there it is. It makes me wonder why she's employed and I'm not.

The interview seemed to go well, and the testing took a few hours. I felt optimistic about a positive result. We then discussed a position I was interested in, but it wasn't actually open because they were considering hiring someone differently. The only other role that fit was a dead-end job with no room for advancement, so I decided not to pursue it. I followed up with my recruiter several times over a couple of weeks, but she had no updates on the position I wanted, no new leads, and seemed annoyed by my calls. I haven't heard back from Job Giraffe about any new opportunities.

I applied through CareerBuilder and after a few weeks they called me saying they were interested in me. They immediately asked me why I wanted to work there during the call. After that, I had a phone interview, and then they asked me to come in for a behavioral interview. A few days after the behavioral interview, they called to offer me the job.
