The team was very friendly and the interview was relaxed. The staff were attentive. Some tests were administered, such as psychometric and attention tests. This was done in conjunction with the Instituto Via de Acesso, which also conducted an encouraging and reassuring screening for the candidate.

I had an extensive online assessment of my abilities and attitudes, which I passed. I was offered the next stage, an in-person interview, but it was on short notice. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend because I had already booked a holiday and was overseas. The DHSS HR Dept was unwilling to offer an alternative date.

Three people were present, and without showing any interest in me personally, they immediately started going through their list of questions. I felt uncomfortable during the conversation, especially since they showed zero interest in me. Furthermore, it was immediately clear to me that they were just going through the motions because they already had someone in mind for the position within their department.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Could you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
