First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JobAdder.
Sales Manager
It was a really good and friendly interview process. I got to meet the Sales Director, CRO, and CEO. They were all super knowledgeable and really into the role I was applying for. They made sure I had plenty of time to ask my questions, and it felt like a good fit on both sides.
- Could you outline your strategic plan for improving the EMEA sales operations?
Senior Account Executive
The interview process felt misleading and unprofessional. I invested significant time in multiple product demos and role plays for Jobadder. An interview was cancelled last minute without explanation, foreshadowing disorganization. After accepting an offer and signing, I was informed about a mandatory 10-year background check by a third party, which wasn't disclosed during interviews or in the contract. Despite providing the required documents, I've received informal notification that the offer has been rescinded, pending formal confirmation. The recruiter's handling of the process was poor, with vague and unprofessional communication via WhatsApp, often at inconvenient hours due to their Australian time zone. Timelines were inconsistent, and explanations for issues were informal and unclear. The recruiter seemed to have excessive influence and lacked the experience to manage the process effectively. Caution is advised as your time and effort may not be respected.

Marketing Specialist
I had a recruiter call first, then I was supposed to speak with the direct manager. The recruiter call was informal and I enjoyed it. They said I would move to the next step to talk to the direct manager. However, I never got a meeting invite for that next step, even after following up with HR multiple times. I wish the recruiter had been more upfront about the outcome and not made promises they couldn't keep so I could have searched for other jobs without getting my hopes up.
- Could you tell me about yourself?
HR Business Partner
I met with the TA Lead, Hiring Manager, a peer, and some stakeholders. It was a good process. Even with time zone differences, the Talent Lead communicated really well. I had two other interviews going on at the same time, and even though those were in my time zone, JobAdder moved faster. They were friendly, and now that I've been here a few months, everything they said was accurate. The team was friendly and always answered my questions. It felt like a two-way street.
- Can you share an experience where you helped scale programs in a Go-To-Market team, leading to cultural shifts?
