First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Job Mobz.
Sales
I had a phone call with myself and a recruiter first. Then, a video call with another recruiter and the CEO. After that, it was an in-person meeting with the recruiter and CEO. Finally, I had an in-person meeting with other team members where I presented to the CEO and the team. I got the job offer a few days later and accepted it the day after they offered.
- How would you manage your time and stay on track as a remote employee to meet your goals?
- Can you share some skills from your past experience that you believe will be valuable in this role at Job Mobz, with an example or two?
Technical Recruiter
I applied through LinkedIn and got a direct message from the CEO, Jesse, asking to chat on the phone. I gave him my availability, and then didn't hear back for a few days. When Jesse did call, it was really windy and he was outside, so I could barely hear him. He asked for my resume after the call, and since I told him I couldn't understand much, he suggested we meet in person. We met at a tennis club, but he wasn't a member, so it was confusing where to meet him, and we ended up sitting by the courts, which made it hard to hear and concentrate. Two days later, he let me know they weren't moving forward, which was fine because it wasn't the right fit.
- Can you teach me something?
Senior Recruiter
The recruiter reached out on LinkedIn and set up an initial call. The first call was about 20 minutes, covering what I was looking for and what they were looking for. Within two days, I had a phone interview with the CEO. A week later, I had a video chat with another stakeholder and the CEO. A writing test was sent within a few hours. The final interview was face-to-face two weeks after that. The entire process took 5 weeks due to travel.
- Can you describe your management style?
Recruiter
I had a great conversation with Jesse, the CEO of JobMobz and other partners on the JobMobz team. My interview consist of technical recruiting questions and full-cycle recruiting questions. There were a total of 3 rounds, but the process was pretty quick.
- Can you describe your past recruiting process, detailing whether it was full-cycle or sourcing-focused?
