Retail Assistant
The interview process involved some general questions about your experience, like handling angry customers, teamwork, and busy times. They also asked me to bring a photo to describe, to check my storytelling skills. Plus, they wanted to know what I know about the brand.
- Do you have experience, tell me about a time you had to deal with an angry customer, worked in a team, busy periods.
- Can you bring in a photo and describe it? They want to see your storytelling abilities.
- What do you know about the brand?
Sales Associate
The interview process at this company was really organised and professional. They told me what to expect at each step, and the interviewers knew their stuff and were good to talk to. The questions they asked made sense and were designed well to see if I had the right skills and would fit in with the company culture. It felt like a good, thorough experience overall, and you could tell they really cared about hiring the right people.
- Can you discuss your prior employment experience?
Marketing
My Jo Malone London interview was okay-ish. It had 3 steps. The recruiter and hiring manager calls went well, but the in-person meeting afterwards, where I had to do a task, felt a bit weird. I didn't get the job and the feedback was kinda random. Also, they never replied to my thank-you emails, which was awkward as I went further in the process. Some things were good, like the initial communication, but they could improve the vibe, give better feedback, and respond to emails.
- Can you tell me about your skills and experiences?
Creative Operations Manager
The interview process took over two months with slowly back and forth communication. I have done 3 interviews, with HR/VP Mktg and the hiring manager. The interview was pretty easy and basic, however I noticed a change of behaviour during the interview process as they expected me to come with a different background of experience (strange, as I had already two interview where I explained what I did and in which markets I worked). I didnt appreciate them going radio silence for almost 20 days and me asking twice a follow up about my interview. I honestly think that for a two months process, the bare minimum is to reach out unsuccessful candidates and provide a feedback to thank you for the time spent. This made me wonder how the value their employees, especially in such a delicate time we live in.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Could you describe your previous work experience and accomplishments?
