Software Tester
Got a video interview a few days after applying. The interview had five behavioral questions, including one asking about speaking another language and using it for a brief intro.
- Can you tell us about your Android experience?
- What would you consider your weaknesses?
- What makes you a good candidate for this role?
Software QA Engineer
The interview for this Software QA Engineer role involved a technical screen. I was asked a question about testing a computer and how I would approach the process. Before diving into the steps, I made sure to ask about any preconditions and examples.
- Self-introduction.
- Testing a computer, steps, and overall process.
Software Tester/QA Analyst
There were 5 questions that were pre-recorded and you had 2 tries for each. The questions were more general/behavioral and not technical. One question was about your language skills besides English. Having two attempts per question is helpful since it gives you a chance to refine your answer or start over if needed.
- Can you share your top three weaknesses?
Engineer
The interview process is pretty fair, they'll ask about your system knowledge and skills, how you handle unexpected situations, and your work flexibility. If you're a good fit and they need someone right away, you might even get an offer to start immediately.
- What is the initial action to take when starting as a test engineer?
