Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JLB Partners.
Lifestyle Consultant
I went to interview at the apartment site with the community director and then I interviewed with the regional manager at the corporate office. It was an easy process, I was offered a position the same day.
- What is your greatest strength?
Leasing Agent
It starts with a phone call. If you say all the right things, they'll invite you to the property to meet the property manager. If you can sell them ANYTHING, they'll probably offer you the job if you're willing to work weekends.
- Can you sell me something?
Bookkeeper
It was pretty chill. Had 3 interviews over 4 weeks. First was in person with the Community Manager, then a Skype call with the Regional Manager, and finally a quick phone chat with the property accountant. Got the offer the same day after the last interview.
- How do you manage staying organized when things are moving fast in the office?
Leasing Consultant
I interviewed one-on-one with someone from the corporate office in Dallas. After the interview, I met some of the other employees at the corporate office. I received a call for the job offer shortly after. Typical interview questions were asked.
- Can you introduce yourself and talk about your current role and experience in the industry?
