Frontend Engineer
It's a 3-stage interview process. The first stage (l0) is introductory, where they review your resume and ask about your skills and some basic questions. Then there's a technical interview (l1). After that, an HR round (l2). Finally, a Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) round (l3). This is for the bond interview process.
- Can you explain how to find the middle element of a linked list?
- Describe how you would find the occurrences of a substring within a larger string.
Front End Developer
I had a pre-screening call with HR and then got scheduled for the first round within 2 days. A developer conducted the first round, asking general JavaScript questions. Two days later, HR called for the second round, which was with a manager from Delhi. This manager was quite unprofessional, frequently talking to colleagues, taking calls, muting himself, and making faces. The questions were excessively detailed for the offered compensation. Not recommended.
- Where should CSS in JS be placed within the HTML file: head, header, or body tag?
- Can you list the four metrics measured by the Chrome Lighthouse extension?
Frontend Developer
So, it was a two round interview process. First, there was an online test with 15 JS questions and 15 puzzles or reasoning questions. Then, the second round was a face-to-face interview where they asked me questions about ES6 JS concepts, closures, first paint, call/apply, and the this keyword.
- Could you explain Javascript Functions?
- What are ES6 JS concepts?
- What are closures?
