Graduate Engineer Trainee
The interview was simple, starting with an introduction about core subjects from your CV and other working experiences. After core subject questions, the HR questions included future ambitions and such.
- Could you explain the function of alloying elements within stainless steel?

Graduate Engineer Trainee
It was pretty easy but technical. They asked about stainless steel, physical metallurgy, my internship projects, atomic packing fraction, slip plane and slip direction, AOD, VOD, and concepts from iron making and steel making. They also mentioned that steel is the interstitial solid solution of carbon and iron.

The interview started with introductions and some basic HR questions. Following that, there were questions about hydraulics and pneumatics. The interviewer also specifically asked about the reasons for joining Jindal Stainless and why I would not leave the company after gaining experience.
