I applied for an anonymous ad for a District Manager (DM) position. It turned out that wasn't the actual job. I went to a shop and spoke with the DM. He asked me several questions about my previous experience. He did end up offering me the job, but I wouldn't accept until he showed me the health benefit plan. He never did.

We had a phone interview first, then I went in for an in-person interview. I talked with both the store manager and the district manager. They asked me the usual questions. It felt pretty friendly and professional overall.

I'm not really sure what they were looking for during the interview. I felt like I answered all the questions clearly. The interviewer seemed a bit intimidated by me, and I'm not saying that boastfully. Essentially, I met with the general manager, and we sat down. He asked a few questions, like what success means, my 5-year career goals, and my ideal job.
