First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JFQ Lending.
Loan Officer
It was pretty easy. Had a phone interview with the branch manager first, then went in person, and then had a final call with the vp of sales. They asked stuff you'd expect for a sales job, like about your past customer service and sales experience.
- Do you like winning more, or do you hate losing more?
Loan Officer
It was a straightforward interview process. They asked general but fair questions and were upfront about the company's competitive nature and the expectation of longer working hours. The discussion was direct and honest. The office environment felt comfortable, and the manager seemed reasonable, clearly aiming to find a candidate who was a good fit for the role.
- Would you be amenable to working 55 or more hours per week?
Operations
I got contacted for this role, but it felt like they thought I was wasting their time and the interviewer wasn't ready for our scheduled phone chat. It was a bit disorganized from the start.
- Are you looking for young and energetic employees?
- What do you do in your free time?
Loan Officer
The interview process was awesome, very fun and easy going. It was very straightforward and informative. They explained the job roles and duties, and compensation very well. Overall, it was a smooth and simple process. I look forward to more interviews in the future.
