The interview process at JF&CS was fast paced and informative! Everyone was personable, and I felt comfortable and prepared immediately. I had a phone screen to begin, and then multiple 1 on 1 interviews with various members of the JF&CS HR team. I was appropriately prepared based on the email communication, and the hiring process was easy, fast paced, and friendly. I had been on many job interviews, and I felt immediately that this was not only a great place to work, but a great community too.

After applying, I was emailed to set up a Zoom meeting with someone from HR. The interview went really well, they told me I had what they were looking for and were impressed with my skills and experience. They said they'd want to talk to me again by the end of the week, but then they ghosted me. I sent multiple emails over the next few weeks and got no response at all. I thought this was really rude and unprofessional. I even emailed their manager to see if maybe they were sick or had an emergency, and they ignored me too. If that's how HR treats candidates, I can't imagine what it's like to work there. I would never treat a candidate like that or let someone think badly about how an organization is run. It was an immediate dealbreaker, and I'm glad I dodged that kind of culture and environment.

I applied online and then was invited to headquarters for an interview. It went pretty well and the interviewer seemed to like me. I was given a list of next steps, which included TB testing and background checks. Then I had a second interview with a couple of employers, which was pretty standard. After that, I was told I didn't get the full-time position but was offered a part-time role of 3 hours per week. I felt that was insulting, so I politely declined and kept looking for other jobs.
