Flight Attendant
After applying online, I got invited to a hiring event. There were about 60 people at first, and by the end of the day, 25 were left. The day started early and could go late if you progressed. They started by talking about the company and the job, and they seemed really passionate about it. Then, we had to introduce ourselves to the group and share a story about when we went above and beyond for a customer. If they wanted to see us again, they'd call our name and take us to another room for an activity and a one-on-one chat. The interviewers were really friendly and passionate. Even though I was nervous, I had a good time.

So the interview was like 3 parts. First, the recruiting team gave a quick intro about the company. Then there was a Q&A where we could ask about the company and the FA training. About 15 mins break, where people could leave if they felt it wasn't for them. The second part was 90 mins where we had to give a presentation about our most memorable customer service experience. Then a 30 min break. After that, they called out names, and those who stayed got to do a one on one interview and simulator. The simulators were like in-flight situations you had to resolve professionally by acting it out, like with delayed flights, difficult pax, or drunk pax. They also had us do a PA. Finally, from 6 pm to 8 pm, there was an evening social with food and drinks where we could mingle with others, the recruiting team, a flight attendant, and a pilot.
- What would you do in the event a passenger is not buckled up when the seatbelt sign is illuminated?
- What types of individuals do you find challenging to collaborate with?
- Can you narrate an instance where you encountered a disagreement with your supervisor? (STAR Format)

If you're an older applicant, don't bother applying to JetSuiteX for a flight attendant position, because they're likely to discriminate against you. They always seem to overlook qualified, friendly, and attractive older candidates with great customer service backgrounds. It's upsetting to see the type of people they advance. The process involves a presentation, a Q&A session, and a short break. Then, each person has 90 seconds to share a customer service story. After another break, they publicly humiliate applicants by calling their names and escorting them out while others watch. It's a very unprofessional, demeaning, and condescending process. I strongly advise against applying here.
- You have 90 seconds to tell us about a time you provided excellent customer service.

I went to an open house for a second time and saw improvements in organization. The first time I couldn't even get in the door. This time, I made it all the way through to the end. They split the process into two days. Day one was straightforward, focusing on confidence, making a good first impression, and learning about the company. Day two was more intense with F2F interviews. They asked many situational questions and wanted specific answers. I got a positive phone call within a week. Although I didn't get an offer, they gave me great feedback and suggested I reapply in 6 months. Their call meant a lot.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to manage an upset customer?
- What are some positive and negative things a previous or current employer might say about you?
