First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JetSmarter.
Sales Representative
There were two interviews. First, I talked with the sales leader for the team, and then I had a chat with the company's vice president. Both calls were on Skype, with one interviewer being in Europe and the other in the US. The vibe was really good, and everything went smoothly in both chats.
- Can you walk me through your career history?
- What makes you interested in joining our company?
- Could you describe your key abilities and strengths?
Assistant Controller
I met with several people at the Broward location. It's important to be a cultural fit here – they're looking for someone young and trendy. The role focuses on SOX controls and AP functions. They asked general resume questions, but no behavioral ones. If you fit the culture, it seems like a good place to be.
- Can you describe your understanding of SOX controls?
Membership Specialist
A recruiter reached out and I felt I could bring a lot to the table. I had two very quick interviews within a week. Then I had a final interview scheduled with Lolita, the chief commercial operations officer. The first time, the interview was cancelled the day before. It was rescheduled for three weeks later as a Skype interview. She didn't show up this time either, leaving me waiting for over an hour with no response. This happened two more times, weekly, with no apology or explanation. After two months, four no-shows, and a really bad impression, I decided not to continue with the opportunity.
- Can you introduce yourself and share your background and experiences?
- What are your thoughts and strategies regarding lead development?
- Describe your approach to selling a specific product.
Account Manager
The hiring process was pretty quick and easy. I got the offer the week after HR first reached out. HR was super helpful and kept me updated on my application status. There were four interview stages: a phone interview, an in-person meeting, and then two more calls over Skype. Overall, it was a good experience.
- What are your expectations for this role?
- What makes you want to join JetSmarter?
