It was a professional and technical interview covering the aircraft type. Nothing unexpected. They asked a tricky question about the center fuel tank - which doesn't exist; there are only wing tanks.

The interview process wasn't super professional. I felt like it would be a job where I'd have to be available 24/7. There was no clear info about days off, which is weird for a Part 135 job.

HR reached out after I applied online and set up a phone interview for the next day. After that, I spoke with the base Chief Pilot and then the base President on the phone. About two weeks later, I had an in-person interview with both of them. They informally offered me the job right after, and HR sent a formal written offer via email the next day. They were cool with my terms and gave me enough time to give my old job 30 days notice. They stayed in touch through my first day and the training/IOE.

The interview process is lengthy, but it's good to make sure it's the right fit. It begins with an online questionnaire, followed by a few phone calls, and concludes with an in-person interview. The executive team has undergone changes since I started, but overall, it was a positive experience.
