The interview process was very odd and not natural at all. The interviewer set a timer for questions and responses. I did not feel comfortable and felt there was no way to prepare for such an interview.

They are basically just looking for anyone to teach. It feels like they are hiring to fill classrooms instead of looking for talented teachers. Some schools in the district are great, but the teacher talent is not the same everywhere. They are trying to fix this. Given the high need, I think if you apply, you'll get hired.
