First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JEAR Logistics.
Logistics Executive
I'm a student graduating soon in supply chain and interviewed with JEAR. First, I had a phone call with Tameka, who was really nice and talked with empathy, not like a typical salesperson. Then, I had a final zoom call with Jason Kaake, which was super chill and felt like talking to a friend. The whole process was really enjoyable and impressive. JEAR is definitely the 3PL company I'd recommend to others.
- Can you share how you handle rejection?
- What motivates you to pursue a sales position like this?
Logistics Account Executive
It was a really straightforward process, and everything moved fast. I started with a phone interview. Then, they gave me an assignment to see if I could find carriers and clients. After I finished that, I had another phone interview. Next, there was a quick office tour, a test on US state abbreviations, and a typing test. The final step was an in-person interview with the sales GM. They clearly laid out the role and expectations. Everyone I met was professional, answered my questions, and was cool about rescheduling when I had conflicts. Seemed like a good place with good people.
- What aspects of sales do you find enjoyable?
- What makes you interested in working for Jear?
- What are your main motivators?
Corporate Recruiter
The interview process was really informative and I liked that there were two steps. It gave me a good chance to learn about the job and the company. I met with some of the team and also spent time one-on-one to see what the job is like. The in-person interview helped me get a feel for the culture. I left feeling good and like my time was valued. It felt like a good opportunity for me to interview them as much as they were interviewing me.
- Where do you envision your career heading and what are your professional goals for the next two years?
Logistics Specialist
It was super disorganized, felt like a boys club. The place seemed like a sweat shop and the manager was really rude and aggressive. Why would anyone want to work for a manager who tries to intimidate people during an interview? The guy was a joke. This place is for recent grads who think it's a real career, but they just use their employees.
