I found the job on the Jean Coutu website and applied online. A few days later, the supervisor from the Jean Coutu pharmacy called me to talk about my customer service experience, noting that pharmacy experience wasn't required. She then invited me for an interview at the pharmacy. At the interview, the same supervisor reviewed my education and experience, focusing on my customer service and communication skills. Bilingualism was a must, and she asked multiple times if I planned to stay long-term, as they needed someone stable. I confirmed I was looking for a long-term role and was genuinely interested in pharmacy work, helping customers, and working in a fast-paced setting. About a week and a half later, I received a call offering me the job. I went to the pharmacy to sign the paperwork, and started working about another week and a half after that.
