Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at JDX Consulting.
Consultant
It was a difficult interview process, and I ended up waiting 6 months for a job offer. Getting information from the company was also really tough; they often ignored my calls and would just say something was coming in a few weeks when I did hear from them.
- There was a written exam at the end of a three-day assessment.
- A short interview lasting 5-10 minutes was conducted.
- A group presentation was part of the assessment.

I was referred by a friend who works at JDX. I called after two weeks to check on my application, but the recruiter had forgotten about it and promised a call back. A week later, I called again, and he said he was just about to call me to schedule an interview. Since I never got a confirmation email, I called a few days later to make sure the interview was still on. He again said he was just about to send it (which he never did). During the interview, the first thing the interviewer said was that he was rushed and didn't have time for my interview. I was given an iPad to watch a video about the company and culture, but the battery was low, and I couldn't see it. I waited in a room for 10 minutes. When he returned, I told him about the low battery, and he said it wasn't important. He left again to find my CV and was gone for another 10 minutes. He then asked me three questions. A few minutes later, an HR person came in and asked me three personality-related questions. I had a chance to ask her some questions afterwards, but she was new and didn't know much. I confirmed they had my correct email address during the interview. The interview surprisingly only lasted 10 minutes. I was told I'd get feedback in a couple of days, but I never did. I called again after 10 days, and he said he WAS JUST ABOUT to send an email with the feedback, which I never received. It was the worst interview I've ever had due to disorganization, and I expected more from JDX. It was frustrating because I felt I didn't get a fair chance and that's not how people should be treated.
- Can you share some personality-related insights about yourself?
