Digital Learning Specialist
The interview process was friendly and professional. The conversation focused on my background, experience in digital learning and educational programs, and alignment with the role. Overall, it felt respectful and transparent, with clear communication throughout the process.
- Can you tell me about your experience working in large organizations?
Operations Manager
I applied on LinkedIn and had an initial call with the recruiter. Then I had a Zoom interview with the director. After that, there were 2 case study assessments. Then came a Zoom interview with the two department heads I'd be working with, followed by a Zoom interview with HR. They were really good about communicating during the whole thing. Even though I didn't get the job, they called me to let me know, which I thought was pretty classy.
- Regarding automation, can you tell me more?
Marketing Copywriter
The interview process was super long and took ages. It felt like weeks between hearing back and getting scheduled for the next interview. I first heard from them at the start of November and it's now the end of December. The last part was a writing test that they said would 'just take a few hours' but gave me 3 business days to do. I had to write three social media posts for different platforms, a 5-paragraph story, headlines for three ads, optimize two blog posts for SEO, think of follow-up questions, and explain my strategy. In a fast-paced agency, this whole thing would take about 1.5-2 weeks. I really pushed myself to get it done on time. Two days after I sent it in, they told me they weren't moving forward. I liked the people I met, but honestly, there were too many red flags in how they ran the interview process, making me think I might not enjoy working there.
- Can you tell me about how you started in copywriting and marketing?
Marketing Copywriter
I was impressed with JDC. They were warm, respectful, and communicative all through the process. HR is really committed to finding the best talent, so they take interviews seriously. There are four stages, starting with an intro and ending with a meeting with management. You should prepare detailed answers to show you can handle pressure, create sharp content, and work with different mediums. The hardest, but most worthwhile, part is the marketing assessment where you have to create compelling, on-brand content. Give it your all on this test; it's the hard evidence that you're creative and hardworking.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What draws you to the field of marketing?
- What makes you interested in JDC?
