The interview process was a bit disorganized and it was hard to get clear answers. However, passing the tax assessment pretty much guarantees you'll get an offer. You just have to keep following up with them persistently to find out what the next steps are.

This was the most disorganized interview process ever. Be careful sharing personal info like your PTIN because they won't schedule an interview like they said they would. For two days, they insisted a recruiter contacted me for an interview, but that never happened. Now I'm concerned my information might be compromised.

I was contacted by JDA TSG for the Director of Technology Services role. They set up a MS Teams meeting with a peer to the role. The person had an Alice in Chains poster, an aquarium, and black walls in their background. It felt like a scene from Pulp Fiction. The person mentioned they would record the interview. After realizing the person was inexperienced in interviewing and seemed under the influence, they began asking questions unrelated to the position or job description. I get that it's a small company, but it was clear they needed a lot of help attracting talent. Definitely one of the oddest interview interactions I've had.

I got a message on LinkedIn with a link, then I applied online. First, there was a phone interview with an AI chatbot. After that, I had a live interview on my computer. Then I took an assessment which was a tax knowledge test. I could use the IRS website but no other websites since they were monitoring my camera and screen. I got an offer the same day via a phone call congratulating me.
